Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Collect postage and manage customer transactions
- Perform route adjustments during peak seasons or weather events
- Inspect mail for security compliance and suspicious items
- Operate scanning equipment for tracking and delivery confirmation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
