Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages along designated routes with precision and timeliness
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail interactions and route inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report maintenance issues for postal equipment
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to all traffic regulations
- Process incoming/outgoing mail at postal facilities using automated sorting systems
- Adapt to changing delivery conditions including weather and urban logistics
- Participate in continuous training on postal regulations and technology
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and walk 6+ hours daily
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for mail tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in diverse weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
