Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Accurately sort incoming mail and packages according to delivery routes and addresses.
- Deliver to Doorsteps: Transport mail to homes and businesses along a designated route in all weather conditions.
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and maintain the Postal Vehicle.
- Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries and handle mail errors professionally.
- Physical Stamina: Lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 70 pounds for extended periods.
- Route Management: Follow the delivery schedule strictly to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Residency: Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent residency status.
- Criminal Record: No felony convictions within the last seven years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects and walk long distances daily.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal history background check and drug screening.
