As a City Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages to customers along a specific route. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business customers along a designated route in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Sort and process mail before delivery to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Interact with customers in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner, answering inquiries and resolving issues.
- Operate and maintain a USPS vehicle (if required) in compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere to all USPS operational policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.
- Ensure the security of the mail and property entrusted to your care.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the facility operations.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess a valid Green Card.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for long periods (up to 8 hours).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule availability.
