Responsibilities
- Sort mail and packages accurately according to routes and priorities.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses along established routes.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public to resolve delivery issues.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery for certified and registered mail.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and vehicle.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and postal policies at all times.
- Handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs with proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent residency status.
- Valid Driver's License (or the ability to obtain one) with a satisfactory driving record.
- Pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including rain and snow.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
