Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain city sidewalks, street signs, and traffic signals
- Operate heavy equipment safely for public works projects
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs within 4-hour SLA
- Coordinate with engineering teams on urban development projects
- Document maintenance activities using municipal software systems
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Participate in community outreach initiatives for infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years infrastructure maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Preferred: CDL Class B certification
