Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of public facilities including parks, streets, and water systems
- Operate specialized equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., trucks, mowers, hand tools)
- Document work activities and submit detailed reports using municipal software systems
- Respond to citizen inquiries and service requests with professionalism
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Adhere to all OSHA and municipal safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years' experience in public works or maintenance
- Certification in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Basic proficiency with GIS and work order management systems
