Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on parks, trails, and recreational facilities
- Operate heavy equipment including mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Support sustainability initiatives through eco-conscious practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in public works or maintenance
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
