Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair city facilities, parks, and public spaces
- Operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment safely
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Document maintenance activities and report issues
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years in facilities maintenance or construction
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Experience with municipal infrastructure systems a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
