Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on city facilities, parks, and equipment
- Operate heavy machinery including mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles safely
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs during inclement weather
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for large-scale municipal projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Minimum 2 years' experience in facility maintenance or equipment operation
- Certification in CPR/First Aid preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
