Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair city infrastructure including parks, sidewalks, and facilities
- Operate heavy machinery (mowers, tractors, sweepers) safely and efficiently
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on community projects
- Adhere to all OSHA and city safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance or construction experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Spanish language skills preferred
