Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of public parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, trucks) for landscape upkeep
- Assist in emergency storm response and debris removal
- Conduct daily safety inspections of municipal properties
- Support community events setup and breakdown activities
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repair requests
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong commitment to public safety and community service
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings
- Preferred: 1+ years in landscaping, construction, or maintenance
