Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including dump trucks, graders, and loaders, in strict compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform routine road maintenance, including pothole repair, striping, and resurfacing to ensure optimal road conditions.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months to ensure public safety and accessibility.
- Inspect public infrastructure, including sidewalks, curbs, and drains, for damage or wear and report findings.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all city safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Colorado Class C Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or municipal maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and safety diagrams.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
