Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain municipal equipment (street sweepers, maintenance vehicles)
- Support park beautification and green space management initiatives
- Assist with public event setup and emergency response coordination
- Perform routine inspections of public facilities and infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for city-wide projects
- Document maintenance activities and submit compliance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Texas Class C driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in public works, landscaping, or facility maintenance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varied weather
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of municipal safety protocols
