Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, trails, and facilities through landscaping, litter removal, and equipment operation
- Assist with recreational program setup, supervision, and participant engagement
- Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Interact professionally with park visitors, providing information and ensuring positive experiences
- Support special events and seasonal activities (concerts, festivals, sports leagues)
- Operate park equipment including mowers, trimmers, and maintenance tools
- Collaborate with team members on daily operational tasks and projects
Qualifications
- No experience required – on-the-job training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to perform physical tasks in outdoor environments (walking, lifting, bending)
- Valid driver's license with clean record (for equipment operation)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and scheduling systems
