Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of city facilities, parks, and public spaces
- Operate specialized equipment (sweepers, mowers, trucks) safely and efficiently
- Assist with public event setup, crowd control, and safety protocols
- Respond promptly to service requests and citizen inquiries
- Conduct daily inspections of assigned areas for safety hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and safety procedures
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills for public interaction
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
