Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city parks, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery and hand tools for construction and landscaping projects
- Assist in snow removal, waste management, and storm response operations
- Conduct site inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate municipal services
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Support emergency response efforts during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with landscaping, construction, or public works preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and irregular hours
- Must pass background check and drug screening
