Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of public facilities, parks, and roadways.
- Assist in snow removal and street sweeping operations during adverse weather conditions.
- Operate light to medium-duty equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and report maintenance issues, including debris, potholes, and facility malfunctions.
- Interact professionally with the public and provide assistance when necessary.
- Adhere to all city safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to public service and community integrity.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
