Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain city equipment (trucks, mowers, tools)
- Perform landscaping and groundskeeping in public spaces
- Assist with infrastructure repairs and maintenance projects
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and city regulations
- Respond to citizen service requests and inquiries
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on city initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- 1+ years of equipment operation or maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic computer skills for reporting systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Clean background check and drug screen required
