Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair of public infrastructure and facilities.
- Operate heavy machinery and vehicles, including trucks, dumpers, and skid steers.
- Collect and transport municipal waste and recyclables efficiently.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during winter months.
- Conduct routine inspections of city properties to ensure safety and compliance.
- Respond to emergency service requests from the public in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
