Responsibilities
- Execute daily maintenance and repair tasks for streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools in adherence to strict safety protocols.
- Respond rapidly to emergency service calls regarding road hazards and drainage.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather events.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify infrastructure deficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and complete municipal projects.
- Ensure all environmental and safety regulations are met on-site.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, landscaping equipment, or public works operations.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety diagrams.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Pass a background investigation and drug screening.
