Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain city equipment (trucks, mowers, sweepers)
- Perform road repairs, drainage maintenance, and snow removal
- Conduct facility inspections and safety compliance checks
- Respond to emergency public works requests
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on city projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
