Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol airport premises overnight to detect and respond to security breaches
- Enforce federal TSA regulations and airport-specific security protocols for all passengers and personnel
- Conduct thorough baggage and vehicle inspections using advanced screening equipment
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including medical incidents and security threats
- Maintain detailed incident reports and coordinate with law enforcement agencies as needed
- Operate communication systems to relay real-time security information to control centers
- Train and mentor junior security staff on emergency procedures and compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; college degree in criminal justice preferred
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- FBI background check clearance and ability to obtain TSA security badge
- First Aid/CPR certification and emergency response training
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Strong observational skills and crisis management capabilities
