Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with speed and precision
- Operate radio systems and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during critical incidents
- Coordinate resources with police, fire, and EMS personnel
- Maintain detailed logs and incident documentation
- Perform multitasking in high-pressure environments
- Utilize de-escalation techniques during crisis situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 40 WPM typing proficiency
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- 18+ years of age at time of hire
- Clear verbal/written communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Valid Colorado driver's license
