Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise inmate activities during overnight hours
- Conduct security patrols and perimeter checks
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per protocol
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
- Enforce facility rules and regulations
- Operate security systems and communication equipment
- Coordinate with day shift staff for seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- U.S. citizenship and residency in NY State
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
