Responsibilities
- Monitor facility security and inmate activities during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular perimeter and interior surveillance patrols
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per protocol
- Document all incidents and shift activities in compliance with policy
- Operate security systems and communication equipment
- Enforce institutional rules and regulations
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and clean criminal background
- Ability to pass physical fitness and psychological evaluations
