Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce institutional security protocols during overnight shifts

- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during cross-jurisdictional operations
- Implement emergency response procedures for natural disasters or security breaches
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred
- Valid DC Security Officer certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 2 years security, military, or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and polygraph examination
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to complete training
- Exceptional situational judgment and crisis management skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
