Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols during night shifts
- Conduct security rounds and perimeter checks every 30 minutes
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with tactical precision
- Document all incidents and maintain accurate digital records
- Transport high-risk inmates using secure protocols
- Operate surveillance systems and access control technology
- Collaborate with shift supervisors to implement safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Valid Missouri Peace Officer license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and polygraph examination
- Must be 21+ years old with no felony convictions
- Physical fitness certification (able to lift 75 lbs)
- Experience with CCTV systems and correctional technology
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (6PM-6AM)
