Responsibilities
- Monitor facility security during overnight hours via surveillance systems and patrols
- Conduct inmate counts, searches, and headcounts per protocol
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and medical situations promptly
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
- Enforce facility rules and ensure compliance with departmental policies
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing
- Physical fitness to handle security duties and restrain procedures
- Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
