Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and maintain security protocols in detention facilities
- Conduct regular inspections of living quarters and common areas
- Enforce institutional rules and document incidents accurately
- Respond to emergencies and de-escalate conflicts professionally
- Process intake and release procedures for detainees
- Collaborate with healthcare and rehabilitation staff

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Valid Kansas driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness assessment
- Basic computer literacy and record-keeping skills
- Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
