Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise inmates during night shift hours
- Conduct regular security patrols and facility inspections
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per protocol
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
- Enforce facility rules and regulations
- Transport inmates as required for medical/legal matters
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- U.S. citizenship or legal residency status
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer literacy and report writing skills
- Ability to obtain Corrections Officer certification
