Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment during the assigned night shift.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external systems.
- Generate and distribute detailed incident reports and trend analysis to the SOC leadership.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handover of ongoing security operations.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards across the federal network.
- Investigate and remediate suspicious network traffic and potential intrusions.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Network Operations.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision.
- US Citizenship required for federal contract eligibility.
