Role Overview
As a Night Shift Federal Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring critical systems, analyzing data trends, and ensuring the seamless execution of government contracts. Your role is vital to maintaining operational continuity during non-business hours.
Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Continuously monitor federal network traffic and system alerts during the night shift to ensure 24/7 operational readiness.
- Data Analysis: Analyze incoming data streams and generate reports to identify anomalies or potential security threats.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere strictly to federal regulations and internal security protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
- Incident Response: Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues immediately to the appropriate on-call support teams.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all night shift activities and system changes.
- Communication: Provide clear, concise updates to leadership regarding system status and project milestones.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for government clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in federal operations, IT support, or data analysis.
- Security Clearance: Current Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with federal communication systems (e.g., SIPRNet, JWICS).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
