Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of federal facilities to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials of visitors and personnel.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors during night operations.
- Enforce federal regulations and facility policies strictly and professionally.
- Assist in emergency evacuation procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for government security clearance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods (physical fitness required).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varied shift schedules, including nights and holidays.
