Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to nighttime security incidents
- Conduct regular patrols of government facilities and public spaces
- Coordinate with emergency services during after-hours incidents
- Process critical documentation and reports during overnight operations
- Provide public assistance and information to citizens during night hours
- Maintain communication protocols with day-shift counterparts
- Participate in cross-agency disaster response drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid Michigan driver's license
- Minimum 2 years government or security experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in emergency communication systems
- Basic knowledge of local ordinances and state regulations
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
