Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol government facilities and perimeters during the night shift to ensure maximum security and safety.
- Enforce agency rules, regulations, and government protocols to prevent unauthorized access or misconduct.
- Document all incidents, observations, and security reports accurately and in a timely manner using digital systems.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and irregularities within the facility.
- Coordinate closely with day-shift personnel and local law enforcement to ensure seamless security operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to maintain operational readiness.
- Provide excellent customer service to government employees and visitors during night hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or government operations is a plus.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
