Responsibilities
- Monitor public safety systems and respond to emergency dispatch calls during overnight hours
- Conduct routine patrols and surveillance in designated city zones
- Document incident reports with precise detail and maintain digital records
- Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services
- Operate specialized equipment including communication systems and surveillance tools
- Provide citizen assistance and resolve community concerns during night operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in security, law enforcement, or government operations
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Shift availability: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
