Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to secure government facilities during evening and overnight hours.
- Review and process incoming security logs, data entries, and operational reports.
- Conduct routine inspections of physical security systems, perimeter alerts, and alarm panels.
- Respond to emergency alerts and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency response teams.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding government protocols, sensitive data, and personnel records.
- Operate computer-aided dispatch systems, radios, and communication equipment.
- Assist in the coordination of night shift workflow and personnel supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in government operations, security, law enforcement, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain alert and focused during night hours.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and government security clearance.
- Valid driver's license in the State of Nebraska.
