Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee government databases and communication channels during overnight hours to ensure data integrity and public safety.
- Process citizen inquiries, applications, and requests with a high degree of accuracy and empathy.
- Conduct routine audits and inspections of facility systems and security protocols to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform shift handovers to morning staff, documenting all critical events and pending actions.
- Respond immediately to emergency alerts and escalating issues within the designated jurisdiction.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all safety and procedural guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex operational challenges during low-traffic periods.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess valid legal work authorization in the United States.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a government, military, or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Must be available to work nights, including weekends and holidays, as required by the department.
- Proficient in using computer systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and government-specific software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public and colleagues.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
