Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of government facilities and grounds to deter crime and ensure safety.
- Monitor security access points and verify the credentials of all personnel and visitors.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries regarding any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, fire alarms, and medical emergencies during the night shift.
- Enforce agency policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.
- Assist in emergency response coordination and liaise with local law enforcement when necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; prior security or military experience preferred.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driverβs license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
