Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using advanced scanning technology to detect prohibited items
- Conduct thorough physical screenings of individuals and property following TSA protocols
- Maintain security checkpoints and monitor areas for suspicious activity
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security regulations
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies with calm professionalism
- Document screening activities and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
