Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage for prohibited items using advanced X-ray equipment
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and explosive trace detection procedures
- Monitor security checkpoints and respond to suspicious activity alerts
- Operate metal detectors, CT scanners, and other security technologies
- Enforce TSA regulations and maintain professional communication with travelers
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal residency status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy and customer service skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- No felony convictions or outstanding warrants
