Responsibilities
- Patrol municipal facilities and critical infrastructure during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts with immediate action
- Conduct access control checks and verify credentials for authorized personnel
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed shift reports using digital systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations or suspicious activity
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintain security infrastructure
- Enforce city ordinances and safety protocols in assigned zones
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Security Guard License or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in security, law enforcement, or military service
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in surveillance technology and reporting software
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
