Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol designated government facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security breaches, alarms, and emergency incidents with coordinated protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation using secure government systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and vulnerability assessments
- Enforce access control procedures for sensitive government areas
- Participate in mandatory specialized training for night shift operations
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Security Guard License (SLED certification)
- Minimum 2 years experience in government or high-security environment
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in surveillance systems and incident reporting software
- Strong crisis management and de-escalation skills
- Must pass federal background investigation and polygraph examination
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
