Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned municipal facilities and high-security zones during overnight hours
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts in real-timeConduct access control procedures and verify credentials for authorized personnel
- Document incident reports with precise details using digital reporting systems
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical incidents
- Operate advanced security equipment including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Participate in monthly emergency response drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred)
- Valid North Carolina Security Guard license
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Strong observational skills and crisis management abilities
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security software
