Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents with rapid deployment and professional crisis management
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct security checks at municipal facilities
- Document incidents, write detailed reports, and maintain accurate digital records
- Collaborate with emergency services and coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless operations
- Enforce city ordinances and safety protocols with de-escalation techniques
Qualifications
- Valid California POST certification or equivalent law enforcement credentials
- Minimum 2 years experience in security, military, or public safety roles
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Clear driving record and valid California Class C driver's license
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in incident report writing
