Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure federal facilities during night hours using advanced surveillance systems
- Conduct regular patrols and access control procedures for restricted areas
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies with swift, professional action
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during cross-jurisdictional operations
- Operate security technology including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Train and mentor junior security personnel on protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Ability to work rotating night shifts with flexible scheduling
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire
