Responsibilities
- Monitor municipal systems and infrastructure during overnight hours to ensure operational continuity
- Coordinate emergency response protocols and dispatch resources as needed
- Document daily activities, incidents, and maintenance requests using government software platforms
- Collaborate with state agencies for cross-jurisdictional compliance and reporting
- Conduct routine safety inspections of public facilities and transportation routes
- Respond to citizen inquiries and provide critical information during non-standard hours
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive government data and communications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in Public Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in government operations or public sector work
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government reporting systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
- Spanish language proficiency highly desirable for bilingual community services
