Responsibilities
- Monitor server infrastructure and network performance 24/7 to ensure uninterrupted federal operations.
- Resolve escalated IT tickets and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Execute security patches, updates, and system backups during the low-traffic night cycle.
- Adhere to strict federal security protocols, NIST standards, and compliance requirements.
- Document technical issues and resolutions, collaborating with the day shift team for seamless handoffs.
- Perform routine hardware maintenance and inventory management.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operations environment or night shift schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for documentation and reporting.
