Responsibilities
- Monitor & Maintain: Oversee the performance and health of critical IT infrastructure, servers, and networks during the night shift.
- Incident Resolution: Respond to and resolve high-priority technical incidents and service tickets outside of standard business hours.
- Security Compliance: Enforce data security protocols, conduct vulnerability scans, and ensure compliance with federal and state government standards.
- System Updates: Perform scheduled patch management, backups, and routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Support Services: Provide technical support to government staff and resolve connectivity issues remotely or on-site.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of system changes, incidents, and resolutions for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional IT support or systems administration experience.
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, and cloud services (Azure/AWS).
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued background check or security clearance.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting complex technical issues.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
